Flexible
Corporate Plans puts a high priority on incorporating the newest technology
into its services so that benefit plans can work more smoothly and efficiently.
One of the newest additions to FCP’s Flexible Spending Account services
is a good example of this: The Flex
Card—a debit-like
card that gives FSA participants electronic, INSTANT access to their
accounts.
As
with credit and bank debit cards, participants use the Flex
Card to pay for
eligible FSA expenses at the point-of-purchase, eliminating
out-of-pocket expenses at the time a service is rendered, or an eligible
product is purchased. This new innovation in FSA services is proving to
be a powerful factor in increasing employee participation in the
FSA benefit.
The
Flex Card
completely streamlines the entire FSA process. Participants simply swipe
the card when an eligible expense is incurred and they are given instant
access to their FSA contributions.
